Certified Medication Technician
(Adult Care Homes Only)
Session prepares you to take NCDHHS Med Aide Exam for Adult care homes. We go over similar questions you can expect to see on the exam. You will also receive hands on skilled training for medication routes such as Buccal, Sublingual, Transdermal, Topical, Oral, Inhalation, Vaginal and Rectal. After completing session you will receive paperwork to submit to the NCDHHS to schedule your exam. The $25.00 State exam fee is not included in the price.
Requirements: Must have HS Transcripts or G.E.D., BLS-CPR Certified & 2 Forms of ID (Prefer CNA Certified and must know how to demonstrate Vital signs)
Applicant will be able to work in Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes/Family Care Homes, and Mental Health Facilities.
